Meet The Team

Dr. Ankur Desai was born in Mumbai, India, and immigrated to the United States. He settled in Westchester, New York, and went to Binghamton University where he graduated with a BS. in Biology. He graduated from NYU College of Dentistry in 2004 and did a General Practice Residency for 1year at New York Medical College. There, he gained invaluable experience in all aspects of General Dentistry, especially Oral Surgery and Emergency Dental medicine. 

After completion of the residency, he practiced in Manhattan before moving to South New Jersey, He practiced at his 3 private offices with his partners for 13 years. In 2021, he and his family decided to make a life change for better weather, better school systems, and better long-term professional opportunities. He and his family moved to Austin Texas, and they could not be happier with the move. 

His style of practice is to keep things simple; apply a conservative approach to dental care while maintaining a high standard of ethics and quality. He believes in treating every patient as if he would be treating his own family member. Treating patients with empathy, respect, and without judgment are at the core of his values.

Dr. Mooni Shah attended the University of Southern California where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree. He then went on to attend New York University College of Dentistry where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Shah’s interest in dentistry started at a young age after growing up with family members who were in the field, he was inspired by how dentistry changed people’s lives every day. 

Dr. Shah is gratified when he can help a patient with their tooth pain, and he loves seeing the confidence he can give patients with his treatments. He loves being able to improve people’s quality of life emotionally and physically. 

Dr. Shah met his wife, Arati, in dental school and together they raise 3daughters. Outside of the office, he loves to spend time with his family, travel as much as possible, and try new restaurants!

Dr. Arati Shah was born and raised in Virginia. She completed her undergraduate degree in three years at the University of Virginia and graduated with honors. While taking a year off after college, she discovered her love for dentistry. She wanted a career where she could improve her patient’s health, raise her patient’s self-confidence, and have the opportunity to impact her community in a positive way. She went to dental school at New York University College of Dentistry and graduated in the top of her class in 2005.

Since then, she has worked all over the United States and has gained tremendous experience. She and her family have decided to make the Austin area their home. Arati prides herself in providing exceptional dental care in a stress and pain-free environment, and she loves the relationships she builds with her patients. She loves to give back to her community by volunteering and providing her skills to those in need. 

Arati’s favorite pastimes are spending time with her husband and their three young daughters, traveling, and watching movies. She is an avid runner, reader, and Harry Potter fan. She loves the outdoors and feels blessed that she is able to call the Austin area home.

Sarah was born and raised in Gardena California, moving to Texas when she was 14 year’s old living in the Liberty Hill community with her first job at the best burger place in town “Majors”! She started back in 2019 as a Registered Dental Assistant and works daily on her personal goal for a leadership role within the industry. She is passionate about Dentistry and strives to build strong relationships with patients as well as educating them about their oral health also providing them with a positive experience to remember. Sarah enjoys weightlifting and custom cup painting in her spare time as well as spending time with her family and her fur babies.

Destiney was born and raised in Texas. She started her dental career in 2011 as a Registered Dental Assistant with lots of ambition. With over 12 years of experience, she is well versed in all your dental needs. She believes in the success of the practice and making sure everything runs smoothly and efficiently. She enjoys leading others into their full potential and being able to help shape and support the practice as a whole. She loves the work she does and providing care to all patients. She has a beautiful family with her husband and two amazing sons. They enjoy going out to eat together, traveling, and football games.
